His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson was just 13 years old when began uploading videos to YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His first content included "Let's Plays" as well as "videos which estimate wealth of other YouTubers." He became a viral sensation in 2017 with his "Counting to 100,000" video, which received thousands of hits in just two days. After his channel exploded, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to assist him in running the rising brand.
