Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She gained fame for her roles in television commercials. She was also a frequent series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in an ongoing role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At two years of age her parents and she moved to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. At the age of five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out in her second year. She then obtained a GED and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned improv comedy.
